During my summer internship, I had the opportunity to support and promote 3D Sensing products for Lumentum's Industrial Tech platform. As a data science student with a focus on technology management, I was able to utilize my strengths, while also learning and expanding my skillset through forecasting and market analysis. Through cross-functional collaboration with the Marketing Communications, R&D, Sales, and PLM teams, I helped externally launch two 3D Sensing products on Lumentum's website and social media channels. I am incredibly grateful to my manager and team for providing the opportunity to work directly on such impactful projects.
Furthermore, the guidance and mentorship I have received is a testament to the culture at Lumentum. My mentor, as well as other full-time employees, were more than happy to meet with me and provide helpful advice and answers to my questions. I truly appreciate the supportive and collaborative atmosphere Lumentum fosters, as I was able to grow not only in my professional career but as a person as well.
